its easy if u know what ur doing. u just hold the iron underneath the solder and when u see smoke u touch it to whatever you're soldering. if u mess up u can start over because solder doesn't fuse the 2 metals together. It's just an adhesive.

no, i asked a guitar tech that and he told me that its really up to you, a 250k pot will make the hot rail sound warmer or if you want it to sound more like a humbucker you could replace the volume pot with a 500k. theres only a slight difference in tone.

Nope! If the body is already cut out for a humbucker in the bridge position, your good to go! Just wire it in and rock on!!! A good note is that your gonna loose alot of ass end when you go to a single coil and you'll probably pick up alot of noise cuz single coils suck at noise canceling. But if thats the Buddy Holly sound you want you'll definately get if from that set up.
