A Flock of Seagulls is a synthpop group originally formed by brothers Mike (keyboards, vocals) and Ali Score (drums, with Frank Maudsley (bass guitar) and Paul Reynolds (guitar). Raggiunsero the popularity thanks to the video I Ran (So Far Away), transmitted by the fledgling MTV.
The name of the band comes from a verse of the song of The STRANGLERS, Toiler on the Sea, which appears on their album Black and White.
