311 is pretty much what started everything i do with music. I became addicted to music when I heard my first 311 tune. I picked up guitar and started writing because of Tim. 311's overall message of keeping it on the positive is what makes every song worth listening to over and over and never getting tired of it.

i think this one is sad compared to the original. The cure version seems very happy and yay we are in love forever while the 311 version seems like i lost you but i will love you forever.
but that's just my opinion :) both versions are beautiful.

I agree the Cure's version is very happy. My husband is a huge Cure fan as am I, he likes the idea of it being happy. I'm a romantic, this song is more like whispering my committment to you in your ear. Both are great ways of looking at it.

I like both versions, but I like 311's cover just so much more. The crisp, blues-like guitar sound in this version just makes is so much more soulful, so personal.
