I agree that maybe this is manipulating the concept of hijab but at the same time it just goes to show that you can be modest and trendy at the same time.

Hijab generally concealment so every woman has a certain level of hijab, otherwise they'd all be walking about naked. Women should be free to choose what level of hijab they want to adapt as long as it conforms with present social norms. The Quran instructs women to have a modest level of hijab so muslims would definitely have to take that into consideration.

I personally believe it's her choice if she wants to cover herself from head to toe, or if she wants so just reveal her hands and face; wether she likes to wear a headscarf or just dress reasonably modest; or if she wants to wear a miniskirt. At the end of the day she herself will be judged by god leave that part to him. But while your still on earth have respect for those around you and their wishes which includes the law, local customs and culture and especially the wishes of your parents.

Well that's because the secular elite of turkey think that the head scarf is a symbol for political islamification, and so see it as a threat along with other things. Plus secularism is completely unislamic, the prophet was also a political leader and your supposed to follow his sunnah. Ataurk is the one responsible for the decline of islam in turkey by various changes of law and other systems in the country.
Also these women look ugly in hijab, turkey is useless, so is islam.
