Well, to be clear, I consider myself American and my loyalties lie here before they do there. Not because I don't want to be Indian, but because I was born and raised in America and I love it.
Secondly, I wasn't being literal in saying I was embarassed to have indian parents. I was just expressing how much I hated modern day indian movies. You've never heard that expression before? "y sucks so hard, it makes me embarassed to know him [or be x]"

i understand what you mean about how modern indian films aren't as great as classic indian films
however, i think this movie, and some others are definetly exceptions
the movies all about drugs and money aren't something to be proud of, but this movie is inspirational and patriotic
plus the song is the BEST! :]
