you do understand that the beach boys were inspiration to hundreds of 60 bands. Brian Wilson could write songs that other musicians did not even imagine.

I do not know any of the 60`s british bands that is not better creative than " The B. Boys ". The HUllaballloos ( search the vids ), from Hull U.K. for example are far better

I checked out the Hullabaloos video and you can't be serious - their imitating Buddy Holly. Far better than the Beach Boys??? Considering Paul McCartney whose group started the whole 60s British sound stated "Pet Sounds" to be his favorite all time record, it kind of blows your theory out of the water. Sorry dude.
