I don't think he did that because of Trent. If you looked more closely you would see he pointed to his ears first, then rolled his eyes and shook his head. I think he did that in Danny Lohner's direction or to one of the shitty sound engineers, because the sound was miserable. It's pretty nonproductive if you don't hear anything except for your own instrument when you're playing in a band.
