it's true that he (i believe it's Doug Huffman, at this point) doesn't hit the snare there, but listen carefully - there's no snare hit. he hits the bass drum extra hard.
it's low-quality audio, so the frequencies of the bass drum, ride cymbal, and snare drum (which is a really deep snare), blend together very easily.
this is 100% live, as these guys always were and are.

haha, you're kidding right? Guns and Roses had like, one or two good albums and then they dissipated off the face of the earth. All of them have been in trouble with drugs and could hardly perform sometimes. Not to mention Axl's singing is usually painful on CD but GRUESOME live.
