What were the chances? Jumping out that way and then slamming into eachother. It reminds me that from the moment you get out of bed, until you return home, there are a million ways to die and fate is just waiting for you to mess up so it can finish you off. This is tragic for sure, but it's also a beautiful example of how you should not fuck with fate because it will always beat the odds and remove your stupid ass from the gene pool.

It was their "combined" speed because they were opposing each other in direction. If I pass you at 100 miles per hour and you pass me in the opposite direction at 100 miles per hour, then it's like me passing you (while you stand still) at 200 miles per hour.
Like an offset crash. I'm doing 30 you're doing 30, I might as well hit something stationary at 60 miles per hour.
I aggree with the downward and forward speed though.
Either way, it's not how I'd want to go.
