That's not true at all. Very few players want to play in the States. If you saw the interviews with players who face being moved to Los Angeles, NY, or some other up and coming 3rd world city, you'll hear them state that they are CONCERNED about raising their family in such cities and prefer to be drafted to another Canadian city. This is especially true with the Swedish and European players. There's NO reason to WANT to go to the States. NONE.
