let's see, the sound of the drums are different, there's no guitar in the original version, the original version has a different feel to it an the blockrock remix has a fatter bass sound.
So either you're hard of hearing or you don't take enough effort into trying to destinguish the two

If i remember correctly back to when this came out, mainstream rock radio played this version of the song (or at least an edit that sounded more rockish like this).
Personally, i prefer this one much more.

In this song Noodle is performed by both Lisa Loeb and Damon Albarn (2-D) they sing in unisone but Lisa's voice is higher in the mix.
And this song discredits what the site of the Gorillaz says about the only English thing Noodle is able to speak is her name.

You should've bought or downloaded the whole album to hear the real one in context with the rest (although I do like this remix quite a bit too, I've had it waaay before D-Sides).
And to Bobban, listen carefully, it is clearly a remix. Although this is an edit of the JRSNCHZ remix is originally 5:35 in runtime).

It's waaay better than the DFA remix, I'll give it that. But compared to the original, it's just something different. I started listening to this remix a couple years ago after I completely burned out Demon Days by listening to it 45 or so times in a short while.
