Dear brother, it is NOT an insult to our religion. He is making a joke and even the prophet Mohammed (phuh) would joke around with his friends. He always smiled with everyone. He did not insult anyone, in fact we need more Muslims like him and less of the crazy terrorists that pretend to be Muslims for their own evil plans.
There is nothing in the Quran against joking and laughing. I am 100% sure of that.
