plently of kites can produce far greater lift than a Blade, they just cost more because they tend to be bigger

Blades are great jump kites, and yes they come in 3 sizes i think 4.9 , 6.5 , 8.5
i have the 6.5 and yes its lifty with adjustable bridle on the blades you can set it to be really lifty, my m8 has the 8.5 and its more than enough lift for jumping trust me you dont need bigger. But 6.5 seems to be the perfect size. Anyways nice vid Brighton is awesome i go kiting on the Southdowns close by.

and i thought i was the only won loving doing stupid stuff on it......he he,desember on the way here i come ocean!We got the big ass one aswell,actually the biggest.I usually jump fromthe sand bunks.....Been about 5...6 metres in the air....Almost cracked n rib....but still worth it!!!

Alrighty, I'm looking to get a kite. Price best under 300$. I have a field to fly on (not too big). My main goal is to jump. I would absolutely love to jump really high. Anyone know a good kite I can get? I haven't used a kite before but I learn fast.

just be careful guys, this is very dangerous if you are inexperienced. But hella fun if you know what you are doing!
Kiteboarding is also a great physical workout too

Hi guys
Been a hang glider pilot for more than 20 years with some further knowledge about some risks of this activity. No problem as soon as you can land some meters further than point of launch... but what happened if you found your kite caught from a strong thermal and lift you some 100-200m high. I wouldn't like to think about this. At least do this near the sea (with sea brease not a land brease)but don't try to do this inland.
