As subjects on DJing go it's a very small subject, as it's common sense. All that needs to be said is that vinyl needs to be stored upright in a box in a cool place, it really doesn't warrant a nearly three minute video.

It's common sense from a purely visual point of view to store vinyl vertically as it's easier to flick through. Also vinyl is sold in this manner so it's common sense in that respect as well. As regards the DJing community, I'd rather beginners used a variety of sources and learned new things by themselves than learning a rather meandering videos such as these;).

Not all record stores sell vinyl these days, Not everybody lives near a record store that sell vinyl, they may purchase there vinyl online for instants, so it may not be common sense etc. If these are rather meandering videos, then why subscribe to them?

Some of the videos that he produces are quite useful, only about half are either him repeating himself or covering subjects that are common sense. To be honest it is common sense how to store vinyl, I feel you are being pedantic in the argument of buying them online as for searching through your collection it would be crazy to store it horizontally:).

Pedantic of course, how silly of me to think people may actually purchase vinyl online and never stored vinyl before or are starting a vinyl collection and are looking for advice on how to store vinyl. To define and identify particular items of knowledge as 'common sense' is difficult. Its only 'common sense' if you know what your doing, only once you learnt somethink will it become common knowledge and common sense about that particular item of knowledge you have learnt.
