here's the deal. to all you buddy rich fans. there was gene krupa before buddy rich and there was neil peart after rich. there was NO ONE before bonham and there will NEVER be someone after bonham. he pioneered,innovated,invented, and created a whole new way of drumming. he could do rich and 10 more things that rich never did. oh, also the most influential drummer of all time.he was the bruce lee of the drums. enough said.

That's a dumb comparison. Bonham remains the greatest rock drummer that ever lived. Buddy was the best drummer of his generation in a different genre altogether.
