If you don't care or don't understand the climate changes, renewable energy still makes sense for dozens of other reasons. I dispise just about everything Al Gore stands for but renewable energy is just plain common sense (despite the fact that his daily private jet trips to preach clean energy have used more fossil fuel in the last year than my family will burn in a lifetime).
