What a great band. I love Roxy Music too. It is also interesting to note, as manconoo has already done, how influential to punk this band was. They were also very influential to groups that were more industrial at that time like Cabaret Voltaire.

This song is one of my all time favourites. I was 7 when it was 1st out, but still it remains.
Many bands would do well to learn from this track's texture, melody and structure. It's like a Beatles song done better, with more technology and a better singer.

I didn't have the maturity to really appreciate RM when they peeked. punk / new wave was my territory and I considered them too middle of the road. Shame for me. Clearly the band was overflowing with talent and produced beautiful, timeless classics. Like this one. Who says people never change!

Working in the rather sWanky Botanical Restaurant, Melbourne in '88-9, and I find out that a Mr. Ferry is to be a guest.
Now, most celebrities were so tired or up themselves that they were pretty distant, and that was fine by me..
Then I received Brian Ferry and this large entourage of drop-dead gorgeous people..
But I cant recall ever serving more down-to-Earth, bloody NICE people! So I found him to be at least as cool as the stage-persona he projects, and really comfortable to be around..
