ok Sypsonzerox a switchblade comes out the side with the push of a button, An OTF or out the front is also considered a switchblade but fires out the front with the push of a button or a lever. There are also gravity knives which is basically an OTF with no spring. sooo Yes this would be conidered a switchblade. hope I could help.
