Hey buddy, I'm glad you like Socialism. Why don't you go to a country where it's legal on the central (i.e. national) government level? Try reading the Constitution and then get back to me on instituting Socialism in the United States. Article 1, Section 8 might help you a bit.

Believe it or not, the first Ten Amendments are not the only significant parts of the Constitution. Take a look at FDR's New Deal, Lyndon Johnson's Great Society, and Barack Obama's proposed policies and tell me how well they comply with Article 1 Section 8. The truth is that they don't, and if you can't see that, then you're really stupid.
The Constitution is a very anti-big government document. It is written in a way that's supposed to PREVENT big government (i.e. socialist) conditions.
