This anime was a big disappointment. I thought it was something like gundam seed destiny, nope not at all; hmmm Heroic Age?... not even close. Its like Gundam but only alot less action, and tons of singing. The storyline is slow to develop.

Gundam Seed Destiny was so terrible. Anything would have been better than that, even Code Geass R2.
If you wanted fanservice, Destiny is what you want. Story-wise, Destiny was a mess.

iNNoCeNttDReAMs,Gundam Seed destiny was a disgrace as a sequel to the excellent Gundam Seed so don't even compare Frontier to it.
Frontier,though not better than the original Macross series is far better than Destiny.And it follows the basics of the Macross saga.Which is first of all romance between the classic love triangle,then cool mecha fights and always accompanied from a wonderful OST.And in this case,it also has a decent plot and amazing animation...

iNNoCeNttDReAMs. how do you even dare to compare such an awesome master piece as macross to the inferior, lame & boring gundam? you should feels ashamed. Macross is way superior to gundam in every aspect: mecha designs that actually innovate, an awesome story, and finally OZMA LEE, the most badass pilot since Roy Focker. so you just STFU.

i belive that the macross galaxy is hiding in the giant ranka hologram. perhaps in the final episode once the truth about the assassinatio of howard glass comes to light there will be a riot inside batlle frontier & take down leon & we will see the galaxy vs batlle frontier & macross quarter. also i expect more of alto vs brera & ozma vs grace.
wish they couldmake this series into a movie like DYRL.

Lynn Minmay was the first songtress from the first Macross series and is considered a legend in Macross lore because her songs saved humanity against the Zentradi. She sung this song in the final battle of the first series. Thats why if you watched the english sub of this episode , Grace says perfect song for a Guardian of a World.
Though this time Humans were the invaders and the song was used against us. Ironic !
