The area though where the Typhoon is most clearly revolutionary is in it's performance, it will out-accelerate, out-climb, out-turn, etc any of the teen series fighters, and even if you could say that leap in performance over legacy jets is more evolutionary than revolutionary, how many fighters before the Typhoon where capable of supercruise or where specifically designed for supersonic manoeuvrability ?

There's know way to know how they compare above 55,000ft, but the Typhoon was definitely designed to perform up high though. TVC will help increase pitch control obviously, but most manoeuvres require more than just pitch control alone, even a simple horizontal turn requires the plane to be rolled first, and which plane has the better control in the roll axis do you suppose ? ;)

su 35 radar diameter is bigger than typhoon and rafale, so typhoon with amsar radar and rafale with rbe2 aesa don't come close to su 35 radar range of new irbis e radar which has range of 400 km against 3 metre square.

So double price is very economic. Beside of this you forgot the running charges of airplanes in service, which is another advantage for less airplanes in use.

sorrz mate but the eurofighter is beeter i mean its faster it has got two engines so even if one of them is lost in a dogfight the other one is still runing unlike the j 10 with only has 1 engine.. also its got better weapons etc j 10 is a mixture of f 16 and the ef200 which didnt quite work out..

Kill ratios are calculated from 1 on 1 engagements only. Doubling the numbers would have the effect of a factor of 4 on the kill-ratio, so from an economic standpoing the two platforms are equally viable.
Also you cannot assume the Tranche3 will have that much of an improved kill rate. Also the price will be much increased.

The full-blown T3 isn't at all a certainty anymore. In case you hadn't noticed, the whole world is in a recession.
In terms of flyaway costs, the EF is already a mediocre "deal" compared to its counterparts. Add the AESA, TVC and upgraded engines, and its unit cost will easily exceed that of even the F-22.
The entire EF fleet will be lucky to get the AESA--something it needs FAR more than TVC if it hopes to remain relevant in today's fighter market.

or anybody out there can tell me,the only usa jets that went recently in war was in afganistan which their mig21's 2 mig29 and some mig25's were totally outdated,and unfunctional radar,there was one mig29 shot down in serbia which his radar was malfunctioning and they dont know how he flew the plane being in such bad shape,Am i missing something?

But I didn't think the EU had deployed any fighters over there, those were just American and British fighters. But yeah I agree with what your saying, I think the F22 is an over priced POS however I think the Euro-fighter is cheap and effective at guarding EU airspace, but then again Russia has always had the best long range interceptors.
