I saw him play in London last night - the man, now in his 70s, still has it. He's so beautifully humble and so incredibly gifted. A true smooth showman.

Sounds like what the Comedian would sing in the flag-burning scene in a musical version of Watchmen.
I think the song is ...( 1 week ago by heep58)
I think the song is a good expression for a Western [wo]man's frustration with our system. You know... Everybody knows. Blaah-blaah. Leonard Cohen is brilliant, he expresses arbitrary and common feelings expressively with a sensitivity for the wholeness. Yet he avoids the common trap, which is insensitivity and hopelesness. He seems to keep the structure together, and that's admirable. In a situation between hopelesness and trust, Cohen seems to be able to choose the latter. Stick with him!

Impresionante. Mi cantautor favorito, estilo, voz, y buenas letras acompañadas de una mejor melodia. Ojala que sus mensajes sirvan para algo...ojala que sea escuchado y podamos cambiar todo esto. Larga vida a Leonard Cohen.

Not pessimistic is right. Realistic! There is a difference between a pessamist and a realist.
