Take a cruise down 200th street east and see the new construction around the Fredrickson Port Of Tacoma property. Drive through the never ending construction of the widening of Canyon road. Down into the Puyallup valley and along Levee road where farm land is sadly being replace by warehouses and new home construction. Maybe the residents are not aware that is a flood plain and the Puyallup river did flood this area in 1996?

hey great video, I love time lapse, great song too, it was a good match to the fastness of the driving. It is weird when stopping at an intersection while in high speed video, I was yelling out slow down ,, your going to crash,, hehe. Do you have more in the tacoma puyallup area of the freeways ?

Yes there will be more videos posted of the greater Tacoma/Puyallup area.
I'm not using a webcam and laptop. It's a Cruisecam mount. I was using the VX2100 on the mount for a while, and realized there is a slight vibration. I don't want to screw the optics up on the VX2100, so now use a Sony HC26 and attached a x0.6 wide angle lens.

The video is much better than what it looks like on YouTube. With the VX2100 it still suffered pixilization. It would be nice if the full beauty of uncompressed AVI files could be uploaded, instead of downgraded wmv.

Freaking A man,there's been so much construction in the Spanaway area these days,and the stupid sidewalks on Pacific Ave were designed by idiots i swear,lol most businesses can only fit 1 car in/out there parking lots,anyway good vids of our home town =P

This was done with Arcsoft's Showbiz. A low end software. All current editing software will do this. Use the video effects category and speed up or slow it down. Did this once, then imported back into the editor a sped it up again to get it from 10 minutes to the 5 minutes.
