1) choose an audience that is receptive and of a similar age-group & socio-economic status so that they relate to you and are more likely to laugh at the right times
2) speak loudly and with energy
3) repeat you main point over and over (but with different examples)
4) keep it simple
5) film the talk so that others can hear the audience clapping and laughing thus suggesting the idea is worthwhile investigating
6) sit back and watch as your fame and book sales soar
