Jason is one of the best touring car racers around.

there's no point in comparing cars if you aren't gonna use the same tyres im sorry...
this is pointless... slick tyres alone can reduce 2 -3 seconds

Yeah, I agree it's a somewhat inappropriate comparison, but the idea is a sort of "stock for stock" comparison, to inform the consumer how the stock car performs against the race car. Nobody expects it to post identical times to a stripped out race car. Also consider that the RS runs on Pilot Sport Cups, which are about as close to road-legal slicks as you can get.

This is bullshit. You can't compare 2 cars with a completely different driving approach. In the first round (carrera cup) the driver follows a strict racing line. In the 2nd round (rs) the driver is just fooling around (drifting).

it is idiotic test because if you want to test street car against that cup car you have to put the same tyres on both cars because slick tyres are faster on every car, maybe the GT3 RS with slicks is only 0,5 secs slower then the cup car, who knows.
