i love NIN, always have, since early 90's. man i was just a kid back then, but this man touched me in all the right spots :P I love Trent, but honestly, i'm not a fan of the political style he took with Year Zero. i love all his music, but this is probably one of my least favorite albums of his. still, amazing though! good luck on the grammy nom Trent!

Interesting thought process. The backstory to all the obvious issues has been the creation of a new American aristocracy based on (1) The systematic looting of public and non-profit assets through "privatization." (Book: Free Lunch, esp Chap 22 ... (2) Wall Street trading games, which were essentially fraudulent and have lost multi-trillions to the world economy and have hurt poorer nations the most ("The End, " Portfolio magazine, Dec 08-Jan 09).

Life 15 years form now in America will suck and the erosion of freedom will continue.
