Buddy is awesome. Just saw him in Dallas last night at the HOB. Great show. A little hurt that I am obviously no longer be one of the cute ones that Buddy seranades/toys with during the show. Still Buddy's biggest fan. Since I listen so often to BG on CD or Youtube, I never noticed that he (and the blues generally) don't get radio time. What is the deal with that?

Ritchie, NO ONE considers themselves to be narrow-minded... yet some people unquestionably are. Maybe that's you, or maybe not. I don't know. But I would hope that if you truly DO know good music when you hear it, you are aware that there are many brilliant and creative rap artists out there.
They're not all shit like Bubba Sparxxx or Hurricane Chris.

Think of it this way. One man's treasure is another man's trash. Some would say that the only rock and roll music they've heard is the jonas brothers. Now no self respecting rock and roll head would say that the jonas brothers are rock and roll. Rap heads would also never say that soulja boy is "rap".
