I doubt anyone who made that connection with his music could say they found it with anyone else.
I heard this song for the first time on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles in 1976, sliding down into the Valley from Westwood, and pulled over to listen.
The Towers have crumbled, like he sang they would. The "higher ground," though, is yet to be gained. Lost to the Shock and Awe of the Great 9/11 Swindle.
