I'm a huge AFI fan, and consider them my favorite band. This song is amazing, and so is the album it's off of, but this performance is pretty bad. This is around the time, I believe, when Davey had to rest his voice for a period of time because of his throat polyps. I'm not trying to come across negative, but, for anyone that doesn't know AFI that well that is watching this, don't base your opinion here. AFI are incredible at performing. Watch some other of their videos.

I just wanted to let all the AFI fans that are saying this is a bad performance because of Davey's singing know that this was just one of those times when his voice was damaged. When you scream like that as often as he does, for such long periods of time, it fucks with your ability to sing.
So give the poor guy a break. He tries.
And he lives in California! The air SUCKS there!
