Hey, anyone who`s talking about how genius or great musician Eddie is. hmpf... don`t make me laugh guys. this eddie is obviusly a poor musician(and as a result, he got nothing to do with being genius), but obviously a great fretwanker. Actually gigsix, EVH did reinvent the electric gtr (Frank Zappa, in fact, thanked him for doing just that). Take it from me, in early '78 rock gtr was DEAD. It was all tired old blues based phrases or inaccessible fusion. Then along came Eddie and the whole rock thing burst into life again.
